Fête du Champagne & Vins Festival Returns to Amsterdam With 40% Discount on Early Bird Tickets

The Fête du Champagne & Vins festival is set to return to Amsterdam’s Rembrandtpark from May 21 to May 25, offering visitors a chance to celebrate the Pentecost weekend with a wide selection of champagnes, French wines, and culinary experiences. Organizers have announced that early bird tickets are now available at a 40% discount, priced at €16.50 instead of the regular €25. Each ticket includes an official Fête glass for attendees to take home.

This year’s event will feature more than 100 different champagnes, ranging from well-known Grande Marques to boutique producers. The festival aims to showcase the diversity of the Champagne region, allowing guests to sample a broad spectrum of styles and flavors. In addition to champagne, the event will offer a curated selection of French still wines from iconic regions, including Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, as well as sparkling Crémants. For those seeking alternatives, beer and soft drinks will also be available.

Food plays a central role at Fête du Champagne & Vins. Local restaurants and food trucks will serve French classics such as freshly shucked oysters, cheese boards, charcuterie, and pastries. The festival grounds will be lined with market stalls where visitors can explore and taste a variety of dishes throughout the day.

Entertainment is planned across all five days. During the afternoons, live performances will include French chansons, soloists, and bands. As evening approaches, DJs will take over the stage, encouraging guests to dance as they enjoy their drinks. Traditional French games like pétanque and oversized Jenga will be set up around the park for friendly competition among attendees.

One of the highlights of the festival is the opportunity for guests to learn sabrage—the art of opening a champagne bottle with a saber—under expert guidance. This activity is designed to add an interactive and memorable element to the experience.

The organizers emphasize that the event is intended to bring a sense of French joie de vivre to Amsterdam during one of the city’s most vibrant weekends. The festival has become known for its lively atmosphere, combining music, food, and wine in an outdoor setting.

Tickets can be purchased online through the official website. The early bird offer is available for a limited time or until supplies run out. The event is expected to attract both locals and tourists looking for a festive way to welcome spring in Amsterdam.
