The new brochure gathers 36 vineyard experiences and short stays across southern France into one visitor guide

BÉZIERS, France — Béziers Méditerranée has released a new guide aimed at travelers who want to explore the region through wine, packaging 36 experiences and short stays into a single brochure designed to make local wine tourism easier to navigate.

The guide, called “Expériences autour du vin,” was announced on April 29 and is being distributed by the Béziers Méditerranée tourism office. It brings together activities across the wine-growing area around Béziers in southern France, with options that range from cellar visits and tastings to vineyard walks, overnight stays with winemakers and themed tours by road.

Tourism officials said the guide was meant to present the local vineyard in a format that is simple and accessible, while also appealing to families and visitors with different interests. The offer is organized into four categories: domaines and caves for visits and tastings; vineyard outings that combine walking and tasting; stays and activities hosted by winemakers; and circuits and wine tours that move visitors around the territory in more unusual ways.

Among the examples highlighted in the guide are Les Vignerons de Sérignan, which offers augmented-reality frescoes as part of its visitor experience, and Domaine Carrière Pradal, where guests can learn about agroforestry while walking through the vines. The guide also points to Domaine de Ribaute, which offers lodging in a restored medieval hamlet dating to the 12th century, and Deuche Family, which runs an escape-game-style tour in a Citroën 2CV through villages in the area.

The tourism office said the new publication reflects its effort to position Béziers Méditerranée as a wine tourism destination in Occitanie, the region along France’s Mediterranean coast known for its vineyards and coastal resorts. The area’s wine heritage is central to that strategy, with officials emphasizing experiences that connect visitors to producers, landscapes and local food traditions.

The guide is available through the Béziers Méditerranée tourism website and at local tourist information offices.
